What is Elf Watch?

Elf Watch turns a photo of your own room into a short video of your child's elf caught on camera, in your house. You choose the scene, take one guided photo, and wake your child up to it in the morning.

How does it work?

You photograph your child's elf once. After that it is one prompt a night: pick tonight's mischief, and the app tells you exactly which room to photograph, what angle and how far back. Elf Watch then makes a video of that elf, in that room. It takes about a minute.

What do I need?

Just your phone and your child's elf. It stays your elf in every video, not a stock one.

When does Elf Watch open for 2026?

Elf Watch opens on 1 October 2026. Your first video is free if you download the app before 1 December.

The videos and reactions

Can I record my child's reaction?

Yes. You can schedule exactly when the video is revealed — breakfast, bedtime, the moment they come downstairs — and turn on reaction recording, which films your child's face while they watch. Reactions are saved in your own account, for you to keep.

Is it safe for my child?

Elf Watch is made for parents. Every video is created by you and revealed by you. Nothing is generated for, or shown to, children directly, and any reaction recording is started by you and stays in your account. See our privacy notice for the detail.

Do I keep the videos?

Yes. Your videos and reaction recordings stay in your account, year after year, until you choose to remove them or delete your account.

Buying and packs

How much does it cost?

Your first video is free. Inside the app you can buy video packs to make more — you will always see the price before you buy anything, and there is no subscription.

What about the doll and cameras?

The Elf Watch doll and Night Watch cameras go on sale for Christmas 2026 in a small first run. Join the waiting list on the shop for first refusal.

Your account and data

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your Elf Watch account, and everything in it, at any time:

• In the app: open Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm.
• By email: write to support@elf.watch from the address on your account, and we will delete it within 30 days.

Deleting removes your account, your videos and your reaction recordings, and it cannot be undone — so save anything you want to keep first. Full details are on the delete your account page.

How do I change or download my data?

You do not have to delete everything to exercise your rights. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to remove specific items. Our privacy notice explains how, or email support@elf.watch.
